Inter-University History Film Consortium

labour-party_coverThe Inter-University History Film Consortium (IUHFC), an important chapter in British film history, was a driving force in establishing the importance of film use in the educational environment. The consortium, comprised of academics from numerous institutions around the country, produced sixteen films during its thirty-year lifetime, leaving a lasting legacy that too often has been taken for granted by our now media-literate culture.

As distributors of the IUHFC’s films, the BUFVC are pleased to announce that these films, along with accompanying articles and booklets, will soon be available online for its members. More details will follow.
