• Publish 300 items of content from September 1973 from the United Press International Television News (UPITN) collection within a contextualized resource as part of News on Screen.

BUFVC involvement / Project outcomes:

Over 300 items from the UPITN collection from September 1973 will be made available to higher and further education as part of News on Screen. This selected content from this global television news agency will provide a unique insight into what the agency, and subsequent broadcasters such as ITN, deemed newsworthy. The contextual material will highlight the production process as well as a brief history of this news agency and role it played in bringing the news to our screens.
