Power of the VHS II: The Future of Recording TV & Radio Off-Air

The Power of the VHS II: The Future of Recording TV & Radio Off-Air forum was held at the Sparkbox, London on Thursday 16 December 2010.

The forum saw the launch of a national VHS initiative, led by the BUFVC, which will provide an economical and comprehensive solution for the retention and migration of unique, and sometimes irreplaceable, VHS recordings held by institutions.

The forum also explored future developments in off-air recording and an overview of the Digital Rights Management issues facing institutions recording High Definition broadcasts off-air under licence.

The BUFVC’s formal Annual General Meeting also took place at lunch.
