It is with regret that we report the death this week of Professor Philip Taylor on 6 December 2010. He was Professor of International Communications in the Institute of Communications Studies at the University of Leeds. The BUFVC recently made available some of the films he helped produce for the Inter-University History Film Consortium and these can be viewed online at the Film and the Historian microsite. A profile of his life and work will appear in a forthcoming issue of Viewfinder.
