A one-day course for those needing to copy and use existing content in their productions and services.

Participants will gain an understanding of:

• Types of works with are protected

• Rights ownership and licensing

• The status of copyright exceptions

• The process of rights clearance

Finding, Clearing and Editing Moving Image Media for Education

Tuesday 14 September 2010 – Central London

A one-day course that will guide participants through the many sources of moving image and sound for educational use, including radio and television broadcasts and online materials.

The course will include:

• Copyright and educational use of moving image and sound

• Editing moving image and sound for the web

• Online sound and image resources for education

• TV, Radio and Off-Air Recordings (including Box of Broadcasts and TRILT)
