Film and the Historian – Site Now Live
Published: 21 May 2010The Inter-University History Film Consortium (IUHFC), an important chapter in British film history, was a driving force in establishing the importance of film use in the educational environment. The consortium, comprised of academics from numerous institutions around the country, produced sixteen films during its thirty-year lifetime, leaving a lasting legacy that too often has been taken for granted by our now media-literate culture
Film and the Historian, the BUFVC’s microsite dedicated to the work of the IUHFC, makes these films available to members of higher and further education institutions, along with accompanying articles and booklets. Stop by and take a look.
