BFI Collections Search

http://collections-search.bfi.org.uk/web

The British Film Institute has launched a test version of its new and improved information portal. This database contains information collected by the BFI since 1933. It holds over 800,000 film titles – including television programmes, documentaries, newsreels, as well as educational and training films – and is updated daily.

Users can now search the library and special collections holdings as well as the filmograpbic databases and discover what materials are held in the BFI Archive. The Advanced Search also provides filters to sort between filmographic data from physical holdings including film & TV posters and stills as well as books and journals. Searches can be undertaken by keyword and genre as well as titles and personality / company names.

N.B. It is currently still in development.
