Clive James Website
Website of the writer and cultural critic. An excellently designed site which gives readers information on James’ writings and lectures with extracts and reviews. The Audio section includes his BBC Radio 4 Point of View broadcasts and features six complete series of dialogues with the Australian poet Peter Porter. Lectures given in Australia, recorded by ABC, have also been added. Poets reading from their own work include William Empson, Philip Larkin and W.B. Yeats. The Video section includes thirty-minute conversations of Talking in the Library Series 1 to 3 recorded in 2001-2. Interviewees include Martin Amis, Cate Blanchett, Jonathan Miller and Julian Barnes.

Indiewire
Indiewire is a daily news site for the independent film community. It covers independent, documentary and foreign language films, as well as industry news, film festival reports, filmmaker interviews and movie reviews. The website has sections for high-profile film festivals, film information and release dates, critic ratings of films (criticWIRE), filmmaker and industry blogs, as well as resources and tools for emerging and established filmmakers. The blog network houses entertainment blogs such the video blog Press Play, a video essay source built on a mix of original video essays and critical, personal writing about film, TV, and their connection to broader cultural concerns.

The Informed Scientist
TIS develops and implements tailor-made webcast solutions in the field of life sciences. This allows congress organisers and scientific societies to reach their target audience worldwide: via on demand webcasts and live streams. The site hosts lectures and presentations on many topics including cancer, neurology, radiology and stem cells, Each lecture names the speaker, the name and date of the congress and a summary of content.

Politics.Co.UK
An independent political news website offering news, comment, and analysis on contemporary political issues in Britain. The Video section includes 2015 election manifests, videos on the Scottish independence referendum and a discussion as to whether boarding schools damage politicians.

Short Films Central
This database was started in 2005 to help filmmakers promote their short films. Since then, the international short film database has been updated daily by filmmakers, film schools, distributors, exhibitors and others in the short film industry. Short Film Central aims to help extend the life of short films, which often ends after their initial 1-2 year festival run. Film owners can show their films or trailers on their short film profiles, and film fans can request short films which are not yet available. The site provides a database of short films with a sophisticated search options including searches by animation technique, subtitle languages and films available on DVD or YouTube. The site also provides information on film festivals and awards. People can be searched by their role, e.g. animators, storyboard editors and sound artists.
