New BUFVC Schools Membership

bob-in-schools-widgetSchools across the UK can join BUFVC and access a range of specialist membership services and support.

Membership now includes access to BoB (Box of Broadcasts).

BoB in Schools Membership allows schools to view and record well over 1.2 million TV and radio programmes (including foreign language content).

Registered users can access an extensive archive of existing content going back tot he 1990s (including 900,000 BBC programmes) to support lesson planning and curriculum delivery. Other membership benefits include:

  • Access to BUFVC’s Information Service –phone, email, site visits
  • 50 DVD copies of formerly broadcast television and radio (Off-Air Broadcasts)
  • Access to TRILT (Television and Radio Index for Learning and Teaching)
  • Use of the TRILT online ordering system (for Off-Air Broadcasts)
  • Copies of the quarterly magazine Viewfinder
  • Access to the TVTimes database (TVTiP) and LBC Radio resources
  • Substantial discounts on registration costs for BUFVC courses and events
  • Discounts for use of BUFVC facilities
