The BUFVC’s new one-day course on the teaching role of video is essential for anyone interested in using video in a teaching environment.
The course will aim to show participants how video can enhance the learning experience, when you might use video as a learning resource and how you would design a good learning video.
By the end of the course participants will be able to do the following:
- Understand why video is an important tool for learning and teaching
- Be able to identify what makes good video for teaching and learning purposes
- Be familiar with different approaches to video according to teaching use
- Understand how video works with the rest of your material
Presented by Catherine Chambers, Commissioning Producer at the Open University, this course will provide participants with a clear understanding of why and how to use a visual as opposed to a text-based approach in teaching.
