World Cinema On-Demand: Film Distribution and Education in the Streaming Media Era

This workshop is part of the AHRC-funded World Cinema On-Demand networking project that aims to investigate the impact of streaming services on world cinema distribution, consumption and teaching.

The workshop will address a range of issues including new forms of television and cinema distribution, streaming platforms, moving image archives and databases, problems of copyright, use and reuse, and the impact of streaming on teaching and learning in Higher Education.
