Free subscription to Mybrainshark allows users to create online and mobile video presentations by uploading PowerPoints, documents, photos or video clips and then adding audio by phone, microphone or MP3. Presentations created can then be shared by linking via email or social media, embedded in websites or blogs, and viewed anytime, on-demand from desktop or mobile devices. Viewing details – who, what, when and where – can also be tracked. Examples of works made with the software, mainly on management topics, are featured on the site, and an enhanced version of the software is available for purchase. Short videos on the practicalities of using Mybrainshark have been produced by Russell Stannard of Teacher Training Videos – uploading PowerPoint and working with photos, videos and documents .

Resources include lectures, worksheets, revision tools and even a selection of the sound effects (thunder claps, spooky musical stings etc) associated with the genre, as well as a section dedicated to the Hammer production company which specialised in gothic thrillers from the 50s until the mid 1970s. Audio can be streamed or downloaded.
