Lord Winston to present Learning on Screen 2012

Professor Lord Winston, Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London, will present the BUFVC’s Learning On Screen Awards 2012.  

Committed to scientific education, Professor Lord Winston regularly writes and hosts popular BBC science programmes. Most significantly these have included ‘Child of Our Time’ (2000-2004), ‘Child Against All Odds’ (2006) and the three time BAFTA award winner ‘The Human Body’ (1998).

Professor Lord Winston has written thirteen books and has around 300 scientific publications in peer-review journals on reproduction and embryology. His activities in the House of Lords include speaking regularly on education, science, medicine and the arts.

The Learning on Screen Awards 2012 will take place at the BFI Southbank, London on Thursday 26 April 2012.
