JISC Legal Guidance on Recording Lectures
Published: 22 September 2010JISC Legal has recently announced the release of its latest guidance: ‘Recording Lectures: Legal Considerations‘. This guidance examines the legal implications of recording lectures at UK HE and FE institutions, focusing mainly on the issues of copyright and consent. It includes a flow chart of the legal issues and a model of consent form for institutions to use.
An article on this subject by Jason Miles-Campbell of JISC Legal will be appearing in the next issue of Viewfinder, due out at the beginning of October.
