JISC Legal Guidance on Recording Lectures

JISC Legal has recently announced the release of its latest guidance: ‘Recording Lectures: Legal Considerations‘.  This guidance examines the legal implications of recording lectures at UK HE and FE institutions, focusing mainly on the issues of copyright and consent.  It includes a flow chart of the legal issues and a model of consent form for institutions to use.

An article on this subject by Jason Miles-Campbell of JISC Legal will be appearing in the next issue of Viewfinder, due out at the beginning of October.

The guidance can be downloaded from the JISC Legal website.
