Summary
COI synopsis: Half the world’s population are women, yet they make up only five percent of its scientists. Living Tomorrow looks at the work of four women who, despite the difficulties, have succeeded in the world of science whilst maintaining a normal family life. Professor Dorothy Hodgkin - winner of Nobel Prize for her analysis of the complex structure of organic molecules like penicillin. Despite her own success she feels strongly that girls need considerably more encouragement to move into science.
