MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: St Leger - 1944. DESCRIPTION: Newmarket was the venue for the St Leger which was won by the Aga Khan’s ‘Tehran’. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV of racecourse. Various shots of crowds, stands etc., also various individuals, bookies etc. Horses led out, start of race, race - swing, coming up the straight, & finish. Horse led into paddock, & CU of Tehran the winner, those 2nd & 3rd were Borealis & Ocean Swell. Gordon Richards dismounts.
