Description

A Place in the Country series visits Hatfield House in Hertfordshire. Written and presented by Steve Allen, studio production David Burge. Tour of the house describing rooms and contents and special collections, by official guides and Robin Harcourt Williams, Archivist and Librarian. Also interviews with Arthur Walker (in charge of the house) and the head gardener. Medieval-style music starts and ends the programme and divides sections.
