- Vivian White (standing in for Brian Hayes) is joined by the former head of Czech Radio and Television, Jiri Pelikan who has defected to the West, and Marian Sling of the Committee to defend Czech Socialists. In 1968 the Warsaw Pact led by the Soviets invaded Czechoslovakia, it is now the 10th anniversary of the invasion. Hayes and his guests take calls from the public on the subject and discuss the events prior to, during and after the invasion including censorship and lack of freedom in the media under the communist regime, possibilities for a change in regime and what the UK should be doing. Includes news bulletins, financial news and weather and commercial breaks. Some breaks in recording.
