Description
Owen Carron, the newly-elected MP for Fermanagh and South Tyrone. Carron was formerly the election agent for H-Block hunger striker Bobby Sands, who won the election but died soon afterwards. Carron stood at the following election (as the Anti H-Block/Proxy Political Prisoner candidate) after the Government passed a law preventing prisoners from standing for election. He says he will not be taking his seat in Westminster but has arranged to meet Northern Ireland Minister, Michael Alison. Interviewer is Brian Hayes.
