Description

Michael Edwardes, Chief Executive of British Leyland, on the forthcoming ballot. He believes that BL can achieve a recovery plan and so have a future, provided an overwhelming majority of its workers vote yes. Edwardes refuses to comment on remarks made by Leslie Murphy, Chairman of the National Enterprise Board, about a contingency plan, as he was unaware they had been made.
