- Brian Hayes looks back at his morning shows throughout the week. He is joined firstly by Antal Dorati, conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, who explains the role of a conductor. His next guest is Michael Heseltine, Shadow Environment Secretary, who talks about Britain’s future use of nuclear energy. Next is Paul Cavadino, from the National Centre for the Care and Rehabilitation of Criminals (NACRO), who discusses the length of prison sentences for those criminals not considered dangerous, claiming these sentences are too long. Finally Wilfred Burchett discusses the recent war in Angola, and the mercenaries who fought in it. He defines the role and the motives of a mercenary.
