- Description
- Nicky Broyd reports on the case of Aisling Barnett from Hackney who has undergone a liver transplant operation at London’s King’s College Hospital. She suffered acute liver failure just five weeks after the birth of her baby daughter Hannah, and a nationwide appeal was made for a donor organ. It’s thought she developed an extremely adverse reaction to a commonly prescribed drug. Includes interview with Dr Roger Williams and with Mrs Barnett’s brother-in-law, Robert Barnett.
