Description

Paul Woodley reports from the US on an anti-drugs operation in Colombia where the authorities have rounded up ten thousand people in the wake of the assassination of a leading politician. The killing seems to have spurred the Colombian Government into a major crackdown on the drug barons. It’s a move which is being applauded by the American Government because much of the Colombian cocaine ends up there. Includes interviews with Attorney General, Dick Thornburgh; Robert Merkle, Florida prosecutor.
