Description
The killings of three IRA members on Gibraltar predictably stirred up anger and outrage among the nationalist community of Northern Ireland, but the controversy might have been confined to Ulster if it hadn’t been for a Thames TV documentary, Death on the Rock, which challenged the official version of what happened. The programme makers alleged that the victims had been shot while trying to surrender. Roger Bolton was the producer of the programme, and he gives his reaction to the unfolding chain of events and the court’s findings. Interviewer is Graham Leach.
