British actor David Yip speaks about his career and overcoming stereotypical roles offered to actors of oriental origin. Born to a Chinese father and British mother, he discusses how Chinese communities integrate into Western countries but also maintain their cultural identity. He also speaks about his trips to explore his heritage in Hong Kong, China, Japan and Chinatown in San Francisco, and his attempts to learn Cantonese. Interviewer is Steve Jones.
