Interview with the Lord Chancellor, James Mackay, in which he reveals details of proposals to close loopholes which have allowed wealthy defendants to receive legal aid. The move comes after an outcry provoked by several high-profile trials. In one case, four million pounds was awarded in aid to Iraqi millionaire Jawad Hashim, although he owns six homes around the world. Lord Mackay says the rules will be changed to make the system fairer. Interviewer not heard.
