Carol Orr reports from the Old Bailey on the decision by Mr Justice Garland to abandon the case against 3 former West Midlands detectives after the convictions of the Birmingham Six were quashed on appeal 18 months ago. The police officers were facing charges of perverting the course of justice but due to the publicity it was thought they would not receive a fair trial. They were awarded their legal costs. Includes reaction of Billy Power, one of the Six, at a press conference after the ruling. For Angela Rippon FM Drivetime show.
