US President George H. W. Bush, UK Prime Minister John Major and EC President Jacques Delors have met in a 6 monthly meeting at the White House to discuss worldwide tariffs and trade agreements in the Uruguay round of negotiations. The Bosnian conflict was also raised with concerns for the aid programme if military option is used. The UN General Assembly has voted for a resolution to enforce the no-fly zone in Bosnia which has been continually violated and to lift the arms embargo on Bosnian Muslims.
