Chief correspondent Paul Maurice reports on an independent inquiry by the Royal College of Physicians into the existence (or otherwise) of so-called Gulf War Syndrome. The Ministry of Defence asked the college to review all the research carried out into complaints by more than three hundred Gulf War veterans. They say they’ve been suffering from the effects of chemical weapons or even the side-effects of vaccinations against those weapons. Speaks to Vice Admiral Tony Revell in charge of MOD medical investigations on the research and treatments.
