Stephanie West reports on the first school league tables. Education Minister, Baroness Blatch says parents have a right to know how well a child is progressing in relation to the class, the school, the area and the national average. The clip includes head teachers - George Varnava, Norwood School for Girls (also of NAHT union); Keith Howard, Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall; Alan Howells, of the only school on the Scilly Isles - speaking about the consequences of the tables.
