- Description
- Douglas Hogg cannot claim that his job as Home Office Minister responsible for the fight against drugs has been made any easier by his fact-finding visit to the USA over the last few days. He has learned a great deal, mainly about the enormity of the threat posed to Britain by the cocaine barons, who are turning their attention our way now that they have saturated the American market. Hogg’s last day in the US was spent at coastguard headquarters in Miami. From there, Nick Peters reports.
