Lennart Johansson, President of Europe’s football-governing body, UEFA, says violence surrounding England’s latest world cup match has ruined any hopes of an early return for English clubs to continental competition. He says it is up to the British Government and Sports Minister Colin Moynihan to give the go-ahead for clubs to rejoin the UEFA competition. Any European clubs could be thrown out if their fans cause violence and he cites a few potential countries. Male interviewer not identified.
