Description

Press statement by former US President Jimmy Carter following his visit to North Korea to meet with President Kim Il Sung where he assured the Korean people the US was dropping it’s threat to impose sanctions on the country through the UN due to it’s nuclear weapons programme. It was a personal peace mission and President Bill Clinton has said no such promise has been made.
