- Tim Crook reports from outside court where Sam Kulasingham(?) and Prem Sivalingham(?), the East Ham Two, have been released on an appeal started after Sam’s hunger strikes and a campaign. They had been given life sentences for a fire bomb attack which killed 3 in the East End of London in 1988. The men give reaction to their imprisonment and release. Also reaction from MP Jeremy Corbyn, who campaigned for their release and Sam’s brother Joseph on the biterness felt by the family.
