Businesswoman Gill Evans, who has a senior role in marketing, believes that a woman must do better than a man in order to attain the same position. Her work involves travelling, and she has found that in France, women are taken much more seriously due to their important role in the household. In Germany and Scandinavia, on the other hand, women are very liberated. She talks about Veuve Clicquot (Nicole Ponsardin), an early 19th-century businesswoman who managed the business that now sponsors the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award.
