Description

Nicky Broyd reports on the bomb attack on Harrods believed to be the work of the IRA, by the main entrance on Brompton Road shortly before the store opened to customers, causing minor injuries to only two people including the store’s window dresser. Includes eyewitness accounts from those in the vicinity, and Harrods spokesman Michael Cole arguing the decision not to evacuate staff until after the explosion prevented heavy casualties.
