Home Secretary Douglas Hurd has decided to take the case of the four people convicted of the Guildford and Woolwich pub bombings to a court of appeal. Head of the Roman Catholic Church, Cardinal Basil Hume believes it is possible the men are innocent, and says there are doubts about the case which make their convictions unsatisfactory.
