Greater London Council Chairman Tony Banks condemns government plans to sell off County Hall and its contents as obscene and an insult to Londoners. On the subject of Sir Godfrey Taylor’s demanding an inventory, Banks says that the GLC will be handing over the building on 31st March in as good a state as they inherited it.
