- It is well over a year since the idea was first mooted that Rick Wakeman might produce something on a Gospel theme for his local church, the United Reform Church at Camberley in Surrey. However, what started as a set of musical pieces to celebrate the arrival of the new organ soon became a full-blown project in its own right and destined to become the double album released just before Easter - The Gospels. Rick Wakeman talks about the album which also features the operatic tenor Ramon Remedios, Robert Powell, the Eton College Chapel Choir and the minister of the church, the Reverend Graham Long.
