Imogen in the Wild

Synopsis
Film. Musical version of Cymbeline filmed at Yosemite National Park and on the campus of UC Merced. Set in contemporary California, this production combines professional actors, students and rangers from Yosemite and gives prominence to concerns over the environment and is described by its makers as an ‘ecological adaptation’. Cymbeline is now a local Mayor and is in the middle of a deal with Excavo Ltd. that would create new jobs but at the cost of plundering the region’s natural resources.
