Synopsis
Video recording from Zoom of a live events held with participants in California, New York and Ireland. Director Stephanie Courtney leads a discussion with a cast of all-female actors that prepared monologues from the canon to contribute to the talk. Specified topics include ''is there a difference between the historical women and the fictional women?'; ‘Do Shakespeare’s women have a right to ask for what is genuinely theirs without being labeled, denied, etc.?'; and ‘What constitutes justice for women in the Elizabethan hierarchy of the patriarch?'
