Synopsis
Imaginative Italian adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, which is turned into an allegory for the Covid-19 lockdown. It is performed by 22 street performers, mostly from Naples, in their own disciplines and styles and from their own homes. With a strong emphasis on song and puppetry, several sections are performed in English and presented with Italian subtitles. Introduced by Silvestro Sentiero, who also performs the closing monologue.
