Dave Hitz

Synopsis
An interview with Dave Hitz about his ‘Play On!' project that translated all of Shakespeare’s plays into modern English. Started in 2015 by the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, the three-year project commissioned 36 different playwrights (with one author responsible for all three of the Henry VI plays) to adapt Shakespeare’s original works. He discusses his motivation for the project and the controversies surrounding it.
