Who is Shakespeare for?

Synopsis
Podcast from Shakespeare’s Globe hosted by Imogen Greenberg. This editiontackles some of the issues that can make Shakespeare’s work seem too remote, difficult, inaccessible or even elitist to contemporary audiences. Participants include Darren Raymond, the artistic director of Intermission Theatre, and actor Lewis Bray who discusses how he approached the plays as a person with dyslexia via hip-hop. There is also coverage of the recent production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ aimed at younger audiences.
