Podcast from Shakespeare’s Globe hosted by Imogen Greenberg in collaboration with Globe artistic director Michelle Terry and Dr Farah Karim-Cooper, the theatre’s head of higher education and research. This edition looks at what it means to be a person of colour and study, teach, perform and read Shakespeare. Professor Ayanna Thompson doscusses Othello and casting in the UK and the USA; Keith Hamilton-Cobb performs extracts of his solo play, American Moor; Aaron Pierre, discusses playing Cassio in Othello and Leaphia Darko talks about performing in Love’s Labour’s Lost.
