Synopsis

Radio arts series. Michael Billington takes a critical look at Shakespeare in performance. This weekend BBC Television begins an ambitious season which will present productions of every play in the Shakespeare canon. In the theatre, the Young Vic stages a trilogy in modern dress with the title Action Man and in a study, American scholar Marvin Rosenberg offers a new critical approach to the tragedies.
