Synopsis: A production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream arising from a partnership between University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies and the National Academy of Chinese Theater Arts in Beijing. It is a mash up of three traditional theatrical forms - Beijing Opera, American folk music, and Shakespeare.
