Book That Changed Me, The - Othello

Synopsis
Radio programme. Poet and musician Musa Okwonga explains how Shakespeare’s Othello mirrored his experience of isolation as a young black British-Ugandan growing up in a predominantly white environment. Feeling out of place at work and in his own skin, reading Othello provided an outlet for his demons and eventually the courage to create a new life as a poet.
