The production was first staged in the Minerva Theatre as part of the 2007 Chichester Festival.

Filming locations: Welbeck Abbey, Nottinghamshire.
History
The production was first screened on PBS (6 October 2010, at 9pm) in the Great Performances series. Following the television screening the programme was made available for viewing at www.video.pbs.org.

First broadcast in the UK December 12th, BBC4, 19:30.
Awards
The production won the 2011 George Foster Peabody Award.
