Synopsis
Radio programme in which Gary Younge explores what the BBC archives reveal about four boxers who span the century - Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson. Includes a clip of Ali (formerly known as Cassius Clay) quoting the first two lines of Mark Antony’s funeral oration from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar (III ii) before the match with Sonny Liston, substituting ‘Liston’ for ‘Caesar’.
